An organic, natural plant based mulch. Provides essential nutrients and trace elements vital for plant growth. 100% peat free and 100% plant based.
100% crop based, nutritional mulch, allowed to cool and then bagged. Produced and bagged on our family farm using green electricity.
As it has pH value of 7, it can be used in most types of soil and most species of plants but not ideal for acid loving plants such as Rhododendrons and Azaleas.
What does our Bio–Mulch do?
This organic plant matter breaks down releasing nutrients (N,P,K) trace elements and valuable humus into the soil
It has a higher level of available nitrogen and sulphur than our Soil Conditioner so is ideal to promote healthy, growth in spring and summer
keeps sunlight out, minimising evaporation. This helps retain water and keep moisture at the roots
keeps the sun off the soil so weed seeds can’t germinate
insulates plant roots protecting them from hot or cold changes in the temperature
promotes earth worms and soil-micro-organisms
looks attractive on your garden beds
How to use.
Prepare your garden beds.
If your soil is lacking in health and nutrients, we recommend you dig in Full Circle Soil Conditioner first. Remove all weeds from your soil and ensure you are happy with the position of your plants. Simply scatter Bio-Mulch over the soil to a depth of approximately 2-5 cm and let nature do the rest of the work for you.
It can be applied anytime of the year but especially good in spring and summer as it has a range of available plant nutrients. This bag covers approximately 2 sq m.
Wear gloves and wash hands after use.
For best results use within 6 months of purchase.
